Liberals Stroke the Base with A Letter Full of Garbage

The liberals sent yet another letter to party faithful in an effort to pick the pockets of its supporters. The liberals continue to stress that they have important work to do, but so far the only thing they are doing is clinging to power any way they can. Below is the content of the letter:

June 28, 2005

Dear Michael,

It was one of the most intense sessions of Parliament in Canadian history. Last month, Stephen Harper and the Bloc Quebecois almost got their wish for an election by putting their personal ambitions ahead of the needs of the country.

Canadians almost faced an election to further a neoconservative and separatist agenda.

When parliament resumes this fall, Mr. Harper will try to bring the house down once again - even when Prime Minister Paul Martin has committed to an election 30 days after the final report from Justice Gomery.

Because of the ongoing Conservative – Bloc threat, we have to ensure our readiness to mount a winning campaign at any time. Your donation today will keep Canada working and moving forward under the leadership of Paul Martin’s Liberals.

We are fortunate not to be going to the polls today. There is important work yet to do. But we also have to be ready to fight an election at a moment’s notice.

Please respond before Canada Day with your gift and help us keep Canada working.

Thank you in advance for supporting the Liberal Party’s Campaign for Canada today.

Happy Canada Day!

Mike Eizenga
President

P.S. Summer’s here – and we need your support to keep our Campaign for Canada moving forward.

Is it not ironic that the liberals continue to try and portray Conservatives as being in bed with the separatists after the liberals themselves made a deal with the seperatists to invoke closure on Bill C-48 and save their necks once again?

It's better not to listen to the talk, rather.....just watch the walk.

With SSM all butt a done deal...what more "important work" does this portend?

Neo-conservative?
Wow -- the CPC is left of the American Democrats -- what does that make the Dems?
Politics in this country are insane.

And the letters I continue to recieve from the Conservative party (after instructing them to remove my information after the Progressive Conservative - Alliance merger) are any different?

I mean come on. You are a typical Conservative, and why the right will never ever be able to win a majority in this country. People will not vote for ignorance.

I've signed up for mail from the CPC 5 or 6 times, and still I get nothing. I guess they only send love letters to the libs. haha

Michael,

You have to make a donation. That'll show you're serious.

After that you won't have any problem getting mail.

Neoconservative is not a rational interpretation of the Conservative policy. Jeremy probably should stop making angry statements about typical Conservatives. There's no such thing. Some Conservatives like myself strongly support the environment and issue like abortion. No party will get a majority in Canada for a looooooong time.

Your party is full of hypocrates. Harper was foaming at the mouth to hook up with the Bloc to bring down the government. Pathetic

Dear anonymous:
Wake up loser. Hypocrisy is alive and well in the Liberal Party. Remember Paul Martin's pledge to end the democratic deficit? Probably not. Well when Glenn Murray got parachuted into Charleswood-St.James against the wished of the grass roots he got blown away. And then Paul Martin appointed him to some cushy Task Force on the environment. Now, Reg Alcock is standing with rich guy John Loewen who once again has been parachuted into the riding like Glenn Murray. He will get destroyed as this area is latently Conservative. Kind of like the latently Conservative constituentcy of Fort Whyte where Loewen lives.

I can't wait until Fletcher destroys him by 2000 votes. Take that Anoym!!!
